This policy explains how Ready To Go Moving ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you contact us by WhatsApp, email, phone, Instagram, Facebook or through our website, and when you book a move with us.

Information we collect

• Your name, phone number, email address and social media profile name.
• The messages, photos and files you send us, and our replies.
• Move details you share with us: addresses, dates, inventory, access notes, and quotes and invoices related to your move.
• If you start a booking on our website and don't finish it, the details you entered (name, phone, email, addresses and the move you chose). We keep them for up to 90 days so our team can contact you about that booking, and only about it.

How we use it

• To answer your questions, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out your move.
• To send confirmations, reminders and follow-ups about your move.
• To keep records of our service, payments and any claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run our business. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) for WhatsApp messages.
• Google Workspace for email.
• Supabase and Netlify to host our website and customer service system.
• Intuit QuickBooks Online for accounting, invoices and payment records. Our system connects to our own QuickBooks company only to create and read invoices, customers and payments.
• Stripe for online deposits and card payments (we never see or store your full card number).

Some of these providers may store information outside of Canada, including in the United States.

Artificial intelligence

We may use AI tools to help our team draft replies. A member of our team reviews messages before they are sent.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

Access to customer information is limited to our team members who need it, protected by individual logins and permissions.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you messages, at any time. Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC if you have a concern we could not resolve.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to info@readytogomoving.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the phone number or email you used to contact us. We will confirm within 30 days.
